Nigel has the latest WIFI gadgetry. Docking stations?? Perleeeease, that is sooo last decade.
I've actually read some of the Q&A and do you know what? Fair play to them. They may give the impression that they've only been in the job a week but at least they're communicating. We criticise them for not engaging so hats off to them. Is it unprofessional and desperate? Possibly and Richard Lewis would NEVER have done anything like this.
The jury is out until the consultation is concluded and ALL parties (SL @ Champs clubs) have had their say.
Plenty of people still use docking stations in a corporate environment, littlerich.
It's to enable them to walk into the office, slide their laptop into the docking station and immediately have a full size monitor, keyboard and mouse available. They will normally also have access to the corporate LAN. People do use computers for other things than just getting onto the web, you know.
Having looked at the picture again though I presume you were referring to him using a wireless keyboard and mouse which is obviously linked to a PC under the desk but, as he obviously uses a docking station, he must use a laptop as well.
Having typed all that I've suddenly realised "who really gives a sh**".
