Noticed on the fax twitter/facebook page that there is a secret to be told on the 4th june at 19.00. New signing maybe? Anyone have a incling to what it maybe?

I believe Nigel has reached his target weight and when the scales confirm it on the 4th BskyB will release an extra £1m funding for each SL club.

I,m not a follower of twitter, reminds me too much of that club I dislike, but apparently tweeting has been going on all day.
I have been shown 1 tweet with an accompanying photo of our favourite back office author and I have narrowed the "surprise" down to three choices.
1. Frank Watene is coming out of retirement.
2. Meatloaf is to appear at the Shay.
3. Malcolm will come out of the closet.

Lets not start hinting at negative stuff or putting out rumours you heard from "old Geoff in the pub"

Seriously, if it was not great news, do you think the board would be bigging it up on social media? Did the bulls or Salford do that?

Chances are its gonna be great news and we'll be impressed. Give the board a chance, eh? They've done a great job so far

I was only joking, I believe the announcement will be good news and am looking forward to it.

I've already got a fatwa from Luke Ambler hanging over me,
can do without a Glasgow kiss as well.

If you read this weeks rugby league press there is an article involving Halifax which could become an issue, surprisingly it has not been mentioned but it will come out sooner or later the outcome of which will have an impact on the club.
No it wasn't old Geoff and is not a hint at negative stuff or putting out a rumour.
The BOD of Fax are an team of outstanding individuals without whom we would have no club and do not have to be given a chance, their integrity is unquestionable.
Anything announced by the club must be important and it's only reasonable to hope it is good news or really really good news.

So what's the article saying in the press?? Don't buy any if the RL papers but am assuming as its in print you wouldn't be giving anything away so doubt the 4th June and this article are related???

The bit of the article (on the fax site) that most interests me is this paragraph

Going off that I'd doubt it's a signing. How about a possible share issue letting fans buy some?

If it was bad news I don't think they'd be building up the meeting in this way having a bit of fun on social media. It'd just be a serious statement announcing the meeting and asking folk not to speculate.

Not seen the article in trade press. Don't buy it anymore as 90% of the news is nearly a week old by the time it's printed anyway
