Maybe if we give some of our lads a "Code Red" we will get a result if and when we play the Eagles again this year.
Can't fault either side for the effort that was put in.
The conditions last night obviously affected the standard of play.
The large error and penalty count spoilt what would have been a much better spectator event had it been dry.
Same for both sides and the best side on the night won the game as far as I could judge.
A couple of possible contraversials were the drop goal that did but did not go over and the Eagles try from the ball steal.
Walker the try scorer was clearly behind the kicker but the other 3 Sheffield players who forced Potts to go inside where he had the ball stripped for a nice 6 pointer were well in front and did not give the winger 10 meters as he only got back into the field of play by going sideways in goal.
Ganson must have released his "How to be a video ref" DVD.
