Appear to be losing quite a number of players for some reason as a few of them opt to turn down new contract offers and go elsewhere.

Rumors yesterday that we had bagged a couple with a hooker been one of them.

G.Moore has signed for Fev for next season hasn't he?

I had radio Leeds on in the car and they were talking as if a number of Dewsbury players could be headed to batley. I think a lot of it is talk, agents will be looking to see if they can get their clients more elsewhere, but as Rhino said recently, some need to get real over their demands and realise there's not masses of money in the game.

Someone posted on another thread Thackeray may not be here next year, same could be said for a few. But I heard yesterday that 15 players in total have signed new deals at Fax and the news is been drip fed as opposed to been announced en mass.

This league is a player merry-go-round. And this time of year is rife with rumours.

I'm sure Dave Nosey parker will soon clear things up and we can always rely on what he says.

You may have picked up when Rob recently signed he mentioned that there were a lot of players keen to play at Halifax so I don't think we will be short.

KH will no doubt have in mind who he wants to stay and will be wanting an answer sooner rather than later so as to be in the frame for any replacements or additons as the case maybe.

Lets face it, if P&R is to return in the not so distant future then the better younger players in our league will all want to push for a spot in one of the promotion favourites teams. At the minute these players are happy to sit at clubs with little SL ambition and bring in the higher wages, as soon as P&R returns this quality will want to be playing for a team that has a realistic chance to go up.

This at the minute would be Fax, Fev and Sheffield.

Batley have little ambition so i can see afew of there best younguns leaving.

Fax are bound to have loads of options when it comes to recruiting.

Odd that 'cos it's not long since he was reporting Fax player to take a pay cut 'cos we're skint. He was funnier when he ghost-wrote that problem page in the Daily Sport....
I'm surprised he still earns a living out of RL in all fairness, he's rubbish at it.
