Well done to them all. Now it's down to us, a bumper crowd on Sunday and a great turnout of Faxfans at both the NRCup Final and the World Cup game. Lets show the RFL that there is still plenty of interest for Halifax RLFC in Halifax.

I don't think there's much hope of a big crowd on Saturday, but i will be down on Sunday for the Whitehaven match though!

With the installation of Sky TV the possibility of opening the bar in the front of the east stand to view Friday night rugby league or similar should be explored.

I'd consider going to watch a game there with a couple of jars and some like minded company on a Friday when I'm not working. Others may use it as somewhere to have a drink before heading into town. A supporters trust raffle or football card ect could make a few quid as well to help towards the fax builder. As well as helping utilise the stadium facility, get some money over the bar. And offer a regular get together of fans away from a match day.

Barrow used to do something similar in the raiders bar a few years back, but think it ended when they didn't renew their agreement with sky.

Ground Improvements Good idea Are they taking all the seats out in the Main Stand and putting them back the opposite way ? .

Not this time Charlie but we are giving lessons to you Leythers on how to open them up and sit on them properly.

Seriously though, at the Swinton game the other week I thought the Sports Village pitch looked in fantastic condition so if the Shay can look anthing like that it will do us proud.

Very true Faxcar , the Pitch and facilities at the LSV are first class , probably why we have chosen to hold the GF at the LSV , and there are Facilities to stay , as we have the Park Inn on site ,as well as the Whistling Wren pub , and various bars .

I must admit I like attending games at the Shay , but the Parking isn't great , as im not very mobile .

i heard taking all the ones out in skircoat and arranging in lines so look like hoops on shirts.
