Turning out for Swinton on Friday night I'm led to believe. Not seen any announcement from fax yet, but would be a great step if he was to get some first team rugby somewhere to help him back to fitness

Yes it would be good for Mick to get some game time.
KH was going to do a similar thing with Ian Morrison going to York I believe before he retired.

Why? Before we start throwing contracts about how about we see the player is able to perform again. Rather then sign him up as he used to be alright.

I believe Mick's contract expires at the end of this season, with a possible extension until 2014, presumably both parties can decide.
I have no doubt that Mick would be a good player for us IF fit, perhaps a pay for play?
I know it's not his fault for being injured but, we have paid his wages for two years now for not a single game.
A full time contract for 2014 would be very risky.
In my humble opinion, as I say a pay for play.

I do believe when micks current deal was announced it was said it was a pay per play deal.

Harsh as it sounds. I doubt mick is in Rhino's plans at the minute. If he gets fit then he'll be like having a new signing. But given his prolonged injury status we've had to get on without him

Agree a fit Mick Nanyn could be our best centre and if he can get past the injury I am sure there will be a spot for him at Fax.

Poor old Matt Calland, he will never live that "country mile" statement down.

The thing is at the time he may have been right the way Fax were playing, certainly the most consistent attacking X factor rugby in the division.

Problem was the Comp wasn't a country mile long, it was more like a marathon and time and unforseen caught up with him.

We were well and truly "entertained" during his time of being in charge that's for sure and it was the start of better things for the club and the Fax faithful.

34-10 to the Eagles and it looks like Mick got a full game in as the sky sports live score centre does not show him on any of the interchanges.
