What a good do.
A shaky start and an excellent second half saw the young lads triumph over Keighley 32 - 24.
Keighley included Neil Cherryholme and non other than Richie Barnett, whilst we had and excellent Freddie Walker and an outstanding Iain Davies.
Particularly impressive, Macauley Higgins, one try, big lad fast with a good offload, Dom Booth two tries and Brad Delaney four goals, at the heart of most things. All played exceptionally well for such a young side.
The game itself was fast flowing, some good hard knocks and played in an excellent spirit. Well done to every one. players, coaches and in particular the usual hard working backroom staff.
I'm not sure how many more games we have left, but try and get down and support the lads, a great night out for a donation of your choice.
