It's a very worrying trend and how it can be rectified????

Not much to take from it other than all the clubs are being affected so in that sense none are falling further behind the others.

Looking at Swinton's line up Vs The Dingles at home on sunday, I'm not surprised they don't turn out to cheer on their favourites anymore. Attendance = 518
Nanyn loanee from Halifax, Tyrone McCarthy, Ben Harrison & Brad Dwyer dual-reg from Wire ( those are the names I recognise, there maybe others in their 17 ). Just for the record, I'm so glad that Swinton got beaten to be honest, it stinks rotten.

A radical re-structure is what's needed with all clubs funded if needs be by the parent dual reg club or re-distribution of SKY/RFL funding to put adequate youth or reserve structures in place to strengthen clubs. For SL clubs to only run with U19's as back up tells the story that they've sunk all ( and probably more ) of their playing staff budgets into the 1st team squad.

Just another one of the reasons which is keeping me away from watching RL at pro level nowadays
