We actually made some line breaks today and looked a little more urgent at times. At least this was a proper game of rugby with the lead changing several times! Still some way to go but if we can kick on and win the next 2 then at least we are taking some positive momentum into the play offs.Cut out on some of the dumb errors and keep the discipline in opposition red zone and stop giving penalties away. Also karl please stop tinkering witht the side now.If you are not sure what your run on side is with 2 games to go then it's too late! Let these boys play together now and change only if you have to due to injury etc.
Even better Bulls lost so they won't be in top 8 play offs again.

Come on we have to give the lads credit for digging out a win today when we thought it was lost when they scored with 8 minute to go but twe did and well done.
It was a typical Batley game a bit of a slog for 70 minutes and some silly errors gave them good field position, we did break the line though today which was a first for a long tome and we scored a couple of decent tries although they had the try of the game - it was pace that got them that one! That last 10 minutes was good and something we have missed for a long while, both teams wanting to win a game and throwing the ball around, wow!
Bigger crowd than I expected, decent support from batley but more Fax fans than I expected so well done to all.
This will give us confidence so lets kick on beat Keighley and Workington then see where we get in the play offs, we are not expecting to win it so no pressure its all on Fev and Sheffield.
Big relief today, massive.

What I do know as does everyone else is Tony Abbott has just put another £100,000 into the club, he and the rest of the people at the top of the club are as keen as anyone to be successfull.

When things don't turn out like expected or hoped for you don't here them saying they are thinking about not coming to games anymore or withdrawing their support.

No they dig in and work even harder to put it right and stick with the club.
Can we learn anything from their example?

The biggest threat to Fax progressing or not will not be from Fev, Eagles, Leigh or anyone else it will be from within.

It's allready been said next year will be a massive year and it's time to make our minds up, are we behind the club or not.

Nearly 40 years since my first Fax game, and I wouldn't dream of supporting anyone else.
