As I'm sure many people are aware, as reported in the local media, following an incident in the Maine Street nightclub a man sadly died last night. I've read his name on social media, and its widely believed that the deceased was involved with Halifax RUFC, However I'm not going to post a name until a formal statement is made by the relevant people. Obviously this is awful news, no one expects anything like this to happen to them or their mates when they go out. Thoughts with everyone connected to the bloke. Sad news indeed, the guy used to date my sister many moons ago. I didn't know him personally but it's always a real shame when something like this happens. Halifax has never been the safest place for a night out, at least in my life time, but it does seem to be getting worse. I seem to recall a similar death not all that long ago in Yates.

John it's in respect of Brews initial comment that I've not mentioned his name. It's not a secret and I certainly aren't treating this as I know buy you don't..... I'm really offended by that and the guy was a good friend of mine......

You can offer your condolences without knowing his name......not looking for a battle with an elder but didn't appreciate your post either....
