Very impressed by their attendance today. That's what we need to be pulling in but we're a million miles from it.

Bare in mind that it was a one-off though. Our average is still higher than theirs at present. That's not a dig at FCHT or petty point scoring, just a statement of fact. That being said though, we have still lost around 500 fans in the last 2 seasons which is a cause for concern.

If there were only 1,200 there from Luton then that is a good turnout from Halifax fans. I only hope that the attendance for the Widnes game is as good but I doubt it.

There will be 1000 from Widnes travelling, so if you can get 2500 from Fax you be sorted. Marketing is the key though.

Which means Towns support was up by approx 500. That shows that people will turn up when their team is playing a good team and the away supporters of that team will travel.
So think about it, we moan about our crowds and I am sure our friends at Fev and Leigh do too but, given Super League status, the home crowd would increase and the away support would do as well.
I am sure Town aren't moaning about their crowds average (1100?) because they know that if they get into the Football League their crowds will increase.
One of the many advances Town have over us is that when they sell Gregory, the fee will support them for a few years.
They will appear on TV more than us in a season. (Wake up RFL) therefore more revenue.
Football is a far more marketable product than Rugby League (wake up RFL)
On the down side for them, Mr Aspin is Port Vale bound.
All I can say is good luck Town and Good luck Fax.
Win tomorrow against a good Donn team and it's a good weekend for HALIFAX

Looks like a few went yesterday and gave today's game a miss, their loss, but I can understand not wanting to stump up for 2 games in a weekend.
