Could this be a sign of things to come. For the second week running we ran away with the game in the second half after keeping control in the first half.
We were so dominant yesterday after half time and it showed as each player upped their game. I am sure Widnes will have taken notice having only just got passed Bradford We will see if our improvement continues with 2 top games to come with Widnes next week in the Challenge Cup, KO 2.00PM and then the week after Leigh who still remain unbeaten. In the Shay Lounge Man of the Match Dane Manning was top with 3 points. 2nd place and 2 points went to Ben Johnston and 3rd with 1 point, Tommy Saxton. Tommy still leads on 7 points with Ben on 5 and Dane on 4. It was good to see a back picking up the Hitman award sponsored by Halifax RLFC Players Ass. It went to Danny Cowling who sewed up his side of the field and made some strong runs too. In the first draw for the season in Club 1873 first prize and a £25 voucher went to Jean Fleming number 110 with the 2nd and £20 voucher to Malcolm Halliday number 107. Our final numbers for the season are 144 which is just 4 down on last season. Thank you for your continued support. The next draw will be 13th April when we play Leigh. The winning number in the half time draw was 1229. Finally congratulations to Jenna in the office who has just had her second child 2 weeks ago.
