There just isnt the traveling support in the Championship to financially sustain a magic type event in a venue like Blackpool
The best supported clubs can only muster around 7,000 for a Cup Final, for a ' regular ' league match Leigh,Fev and Fax average around 350/400 traveling support, you could perhaps double that for this type of match, so Leigh 700 , Fax 700 , Fev 700 , the relegated SL club ( Bulls,Wakey ) 1,500 , so 3,600 from the only 4 with any history of sizeable support
How many of those fans would watch a match either side of their own, or would most just dissapear to the pub?
I'd suggest Batley with heavily subsidised coach travel with plenty of other stuff going on within the stadium area, dewsbury would also be a possibility
Never happen of course neither of those stadiums have the corporate facilities to accomadate 12 sets of club management in the way Blackpool does
