It does look like it was the highest attendance but the best of a bad bunch, less than a thousand at Dewsbury who are going well.

Sad state of affairs really, there looked like half the crowd was from Fax today which was a good turn out considering our current form.

We always take a good number to keighley, but it is fair to say if we didn't out number their fans we at least matched them.

Awful match day presentation though from the cougars, music so loud that it was louder than the hooter, and a cd they must have brought in Bradford's closing down sale. Nice ground despite it been in a sorry state, hopefully they'll be able to crack on with their renovation plans sooner rather that later

It makes you wonder how some clubs are surviving if the figures are accurate.

Swinton had just 355 with our game 1217 being the highest.

Batley - Fev had 1100.

Championship attendance figures make terrible reading. I'm not sure that super league are much better either.

The World Cup might have attracted a lot of people. But very very few have come back. Yet because the World Cup was well supported, sections of the media saw that as a healthy state of the game.

Rugby League in this country is on its backside. Was noticeable at Whitehaven just how few home fans there were compared to a few seasons back. And it won't be unique to there either

Our own attendances are a worry too and I not sure we will get over 1200 for the Workington game unless the club count all tickets issued as well!
Leigh are going well and have increased their crowds but still only to just over 2K so not fantastic really.
Like you say Brew you go to these grounds and wonder just how many are actually there and how clubs survive on such low numbers?
