Featherstone Rovers can also confirm as widely reported that terms have been agreed for the permanent signing of Liam Kent for the remainder of the season with an option to extend the deal for a further two years. The club refuses at this stage to comment on newspaper reports that Hull FC second row star Jay Pitts has agreed terms to join the club next year. The club can confirm that Huddersfield have rejected a treble transfer offer for Crabtree, Ferres and Brough and no further approach will be made.

The man is not on planet earth Was told a story by someone who works for our club. During his first meeting with our board he, in all seriousness, told our directors to go out and buy Darren Lockyer....to play in the Championship. Apparently one of the many reasons he left was his frustration that we weren't able to sign such players.

Now at Fev it looks like his is going about it perfectly....if you want to tear apart everything Powel built there and return to the pre-Powell era. Getting rid of their established Championship players for "SL talent". I fear for Fev as a club when Naboo realises he cant be the Abramovich of RL and picks another sport to try.
Apparently Ellis and Crossley are leaving at end of the season to Cas. Moore and Flanagan are being paid to go back to Batley so they can get the wage bill down. All so they can sign second rate Wakefield and Hull players... they have signed another one today "on loan".

It might be bad at Fax but it could be much worse!

Don't care we have enough problems of our own, this obsession with what is going on at Fev does not wash with me as we hear it every year yet they will finish 2nd and we won't so who is doing it right and who isn't???

Blimey Fax4Life 3 threads going at the moment and on all 3 you seem very down in the dumps.
Your nearly getting me depressed, but hey that's impossible, just watched a great game.

Dont know who is feeding you the info but most is bolox, were not getting rid of established players were shipping out the shiiiiite Bastian brought in that man nearly destroyed the club and Andy hay is slowly sorting the mess out. Ellis isnt going anywhere, Crossley could be but he has been rubbish this year so nothing lost there. Flannagan been offered full time next year, Moore can go because he has been rubbish, Briggs out on loan because he is the shadow of him former self. Keegan Hirst gone because again not good enough. I would certainly not call the players we have signed 2nd rate Blackmore is a class act, and Trout has been very impressive as has Crookes. The bit about Huddersfield trio is also genuine an offer has been made and was turned down end of the day it may of been publicity stunt but if it gets us in the papers and adds even 1 more to the gate Sun then its worth it. I shouldnt be fearing too much for us old lad i would worry about your own club

It certainly gets you in the social media but the reaction is one of derision. There IS such thing as bad publicity.

Woke up and still feel down, I am very WORRIED about Halifax RLFC as the club is well and truly stuck in a downward spiral and whilst I admire most of the current Board they do not seem to have the nous to see it and deal with it, said it before this club need a clear out as the club blame everybody else and jump on fans when we dare to criticise and as I have said also before in business if you don't listen to your customers you end up losing most of them apart from the very hardcode and right now I feel like the club is taken us all for granted.
Keep Karl as coach and I will be seriously thinking of not getting a season ticket next year for the first time in nearly 20 years, its that bad.
