Reading Batleys forum they are suggesting one of our tries was scored on the 7th play. I didn't notice this, did anyone else? Commercial Inn, Sowerby Bridge. Enraptured 5.5% Mmm!

Try something less strong and then you wouldn't keep posting twice.

Also thought your first try was a very dubious grounding.
However Browns leveller could have been offside.

I was stood in the top right corner of the pitch (where the players came out of) and the Batley fans I was next to were pretty sure it was offside as well

I was stood there at end of game too.As the play was halfway down the slope at other side of ground
you couldn't call it.I was more concerned that we allowed Batley back in it and lost the dreaded momentum.
When other teams get momentum in final quarter against us we have no answer.

Fair enough did you have a view of the grounding of your first try ?
Never really looked at the offside/onside at the time I was just relieved we got something out of the game
Anyhow its all irrelevant as the man in the middle gave both as tries.

Your absolutely correct. Makes no difference how much you analyse offside, knock on, etc. The truth is that we played dumb and gave the opportunity to Batley to put on that play and Brown is pretty quick.

Got to now look forward, starting with Whitehaven for us an Featherstone for Batley (do us a favour...)

Times 2 for that.
There's often plenty of dubious decisions.
Another one is.
When Saxton went in at the corner the Fax fans I was stood with and myself were directly in line with the last pass and it looked marginally forward, not by much but the guy to my left said it straight away that we were lucky not to be called back.

As you say it's all on the score sheet it was a good contest, both sides have still a lot to play.

Come on the Fax and come on Batley we need our derby games as they have plenty to offer.
