JB ruined the match and had supporters, players and the coaching staff of both clubs as frustrated as you can be at a rugby game.

Couldn't make it due to unforeseen circumstances but sounds like we played ok apart from the Bloeming ref!

Ben Johnson - great try shame about the late charged down kick!
Scott Murrell - better kicking game and got us some good field position
Tommy Saxton - nowt flash just did his stuff and well

We did a job today nearly closed the game out but two silly penalties cost us and that late charge down but once we got our noses in front we did not look like losing.
Bloemy was not good today for both sides, showed his lack of experience and seemed to be balancing things up for me

Is it just me that thinks it's almost as though Bloemy is frightened to give us a 50/50 decision, just in case he is accused of being biased towards us as a former player of ours???

Regular readers will know I never criticise the officials but some very interesting decisions. Penalised for forcing a player into touch, a legitimate hit to be judged head high and a ball knocked on by Dewsbury gathered and then lost by Fax, Halifax penalised.
On the other hand sitting in the East Stand I couldn't tell but some friends in the South Stand said the first try, Luke didn't get the ball over the line. So perhaps swings and roundabouts. As I say not criticising, it's a difficult job but Jamie didn't have his best game at the Shay in his career.
Pleasing crowd, highest in our division and Dewsbury with respect didn't bring more than possibly Barra at Fev.
Well done to all of us.

Good point although I doubt he is bothered what the crowd think. He will be judged by his piers . All I would say is that no other supporters should fear him reffing a Fax game.

Cmon John "Judged by his PIERS .I expect better from you , im an Italian Leyther and even I know its PEERS .

That's exactly how it came across as if he was over compensating for being an ex Fax player, either that or he really isn't good enough which seems strange as he knows the game inside out and it's not as if you need a science degree to understand the basic rules.
