Neil' Notes v Featherstone : Sun Aug 17, 2014 7:46 pm
Well what a let down after putting ourselves in a strong position to take second spot and the extra funding it gives for next season. At half time and 20 points down Featherstone just controlled the second half with our only score a length of the field special from Ryan Fieldhouse who just managed to throw out a pass to the supporting Ben Johnston. Our next game sees us travel to Doncaster in 2 weeks with the Dons just one point behind so another pressure game which we need to see a vast improvement in our creative skills, one like we saw when we beat them easily at home earlier in the season.
The supporters coach leaves at 12.30 for a 3.00pm Ko. Adults £11 , juniors £5.
Phone me as usual on 07714488080.
The Hitman award sponsored by Halifax RLFC Players Ass went to Andy Bracek.
The Shay Lounge MOM went to Ryan Fieldhouse with 3 points, Ben Johnston 2nd with 2 points and 3rd Scott Murrell. Ben is now just 2 points short of Tommy Saxton who has 17 points with Luke Ambler on 11. These 3 will now take the top 3 places with Ben having a chance to take the trophy in our final home game against Barrow.
