The Trust since it’s start in 2002, has been Registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts 1965-78, reporting annually to The Financial Services(now Conduct) Authority. Recent legislation has changed so we are now “A Registered Society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014. Under the Constitution all Members must pay a subscription as decided by the Board and each is entitled to 1 voting share being £1 of the membership fee. We are and always will be Independent, raising our own funds deciding when and how they should be spent. 4 years ago, at the request of the Club's BOD, the decision was taken to concentrate our efforts in supporting the Junior team in whatever guise, be it Under 23's or Under 20's, and to that end we have to date raised £80,000 in 4 years. For this we thank all, be they Trust Members or not who have helped us in many ways to achieve this.

Thanks to all who attended last weeks Quiz raising £103.

Well done to everyone who has contributed in any way, especially those who give up their free time to volunteer to do the fund-raising.

Shame on those who are over-critical of this group of people, i have seen at first hand the rewards that many young blokes from our district who have benefitted from the trust when i ran the club scholarship & supported my lad when he later developed into the reserves.

I hope this brief statement put out by Maureen goes some way to clear any doubts up that there may have been by some people.

Thank you for your words MM, your boy is a typical example of why we have thankfully had so much support from the Fax community either Trust members or not .
Since the BOD of the Club placed their trust in the Supporters Trust to help to fund the Under 20s we have had a massive response from Fax fans .I also have had many messages of support for the work of the Trust over these last few days but the main "backslaps "must go to the Fax Fans .They have been the ones who have contributed to the events , raffles , sponsorships ,auctions , entrance money for the Under 20s matches and also the very many people who match after match still contribute the Pledge money . So much so that I know the Trust board have been at times overwhelmed , so let`s hope there are a good many turn out on Sunday as we will be there with our buckets again .
Let`s see if we can fill them , it`s our Club so in the famous words of Delia " Come on let`s be havin` you".

A big well done to all involved, to keep that work and the associated fund raising to that level over that amount of time is outstanding and releasing the news at this difficult time is a real tonic.
