Comfortable win and some good rugby in that first half, why we dropped off second half yet again is puzzling I don't know why as they were there for the taking.
We defended well but they did not offer much, our left hand side with Tommy and salty looked much better and Ben Heaton is playing well.
I guess we are still finding our feet with all the changes it takes time and one day we will do a full 80 minutes!

Pretty much agree with above comments. Heaton is def most improved with Ben Kaye the other this season. We need to try get a settled side now with those out there today being probably our best players with just Tyrer needed for that other centre spot and his goal kicking. More balance now with Craven and Morrell. Get Salty and Mitch signed up sharpish before the vultures start circling to pick off our best players. We need to show some longer term abition by building a side around these type of players. Next game up will be a lot tougher than what today turned out to be. What a time to put a full 80mins against the Leigh Invincible Centurions on their own pitch!

Danny had a decent game today, but tbh Donny didn't offer a great deal today. Expecting far more from them after last week against Bradford.

Fax played some really good stuff in the first half, but Donny cottoned on to the fact that the ref was pretty lax with getting the teams back 10 metres in the second half, and our frailties at dealing with a tighter defence did show up then.

A few (ok, a lot of) strange decisions from the ref in the second half (some random offsides in there!), with a lot of stop-start stuff didn't help.

We need a full 80 minutes next week. If we can do that (not seen it yet this season!), then it could be a really close thing against the Leythers. I have my ticket already!

Btw, one real big plus point I'm seeing recently is a much better discipline from the team. I'm sure the guys will react next week if there's anything kicks off (Mr Rowley has developed a bit of a reputation for this), but we won't be seeing anything untoward from the Fax players (the RM influence vs KH).
