I've been one of the Club biggest Critics for some years...... but....
I'm seeing green shoots..
Get behind the Club, get yer mates down, get the family down, get people you don't like down.
Get behind RM, Get behind guys like Luke (has he had a bad game)? Ambler and encourage people like Craig Poskitt who runs around like a Blue assed fly on match day, and others who try push us forward.
Its your Club guys and gals.


Oh and sorry, keep em interetested until late June cos of the Fixture ass up.

Well said I agree we are building for next year but we need to finish as high as we can at least 5th but 4th would be better as much more money, its a big ask but lets go for it.

I see no reason why we can't finish this season as the form team and hit next year as the team to watch

Willy Wonka had better watch out cmon you have just beaten one of the weakest sides in the Championship ,look what Fax did to them at Haven first game up, and now you seem ready to March on Poland you have Bradford next week , and still have to play Bradford again after, as well as Fev, the Seagulls , and Dews,and you ask where are Fax?Answer still looking to get 5th or 6th spot ,my prediction of 7th is more realistic, I do hope Fax prove me wrong and beat Bradford next week, I will be cheering you on,with the Mighty Leythers doing the same.A quick message to Halifaxjohn, lend Charlie a Tenner.

Charlie, regardless of the fact of whether your avatar or alter ego (which is spelt wrong), or whether you modelled yourself on a withered Mick Miller with photochromic lenses, I look forward to seeing you at the Shay with a side free from growth hormones next season and giving your ex Halfax and Wigan players a darn good game in the best spirits the RFL Family can offer.

50/50 for me. Not getting carried away until we beat one of the top four - we haven't done that for quite some time. We need a bit of what Leigh are on

For me above expectations. Small squad who lost 2 halfbacks at the start and a Coach who has not had too much say in the signings, as well as the terrible Greenwood injury, I think we are going well. I expected Leigh, Bradford, Sheffield, London, Fev and either Batley or Dewsbury to finish above us at the start of the season. Apart from the odd game, we have competed with even the FT teams for most of the game. Fitness is way above from the Rhino era. We are not so predictable. Maybe we need to be a bit more clinical and play for the full 80 minutes. The pack is very tough. The backs are still a bit weak in certain areas. I think some people need to be realistic where we are to be honest. Realistically a PT team like us will alwaysw be underdogs against the alleged 4 FT teams (Sheffield, London, Leigh and Bradford)

Off the field we seem to be steady if not spectacular. But rather being stable instead of yoyo where we seem to have money and then we dont. Certain things could be better but I am in the main content where we are. Realistically we need to be looking to run a Reserve/Academy soon and would rather money be spent towards that rather than wasting money on a first team that has let us down in the past. Our local players deserve a chance to show what they can do which currently is not there. I am sure that the club know this and other areas that need to be worked on. Its easy to criticize but without the people on the board that put much time and money in we have no club- simply as that! People like Peter Mcnamara are very honest and have never tried to pull the wool over my eyes when I have asked them whats going on and why. I might not agree with some decisions, but I trust the people at the club. Its never easy trying to run a PT club on a shoestring budget, especially in a League with 3/4 FT clubs.

How on God's earth do Sheffield afford to be full time?

Do they charge £1000 a ticket?

The rumour is they have the biggest Sponsorship deal in total which helps them be FT or as good as.

I feel good about the club and team at the moment. We are not setting the world alight but we are getting bette rand I feel that next season when RM recruit his players we will improve again. Although at this moment I feel the squad, although small, are 100% better than the last few seasons.

Reading Mr Steel's notes from yesterdays program he asks for more support by fans getting more people to the Shay. I think our home support is good. I feel that this season it is the away support (teams visiting the Shay) that are not brining their support which affects our gate revenue. We have a good away support. Indeed At a lot of our away games it seems that there are more Fax supporters than home the home team.

I was going to comment about Leigh but this thread isn't about a dirty team who win by starting fights and fighting at every opportunity. We are making progress and everyone in the club is pulling the right direction.
