Seems conspicuous by his absence lately unless I have missed something - do we think his "I love Fax really" were a thinly veiled attempt at just enjoying a seemingly sanctimonious 'superiority' complex and now he is worried that his <allegedly> hormone-assisted heros may have some real competition from a team with real honest grit, spirit and determination?

Almost a shame that we don't get another shot at them in-season.

Just an aside and a future prediction on Ben Kaye - I said in Sunday that he reminded me of Penky and I think he is gonna be even BETTER!

and one final general random comment - nice to see Yorkshire stroking the Aussies to the boundary - any Lankies in the side incorrectly spelled clown?

He collapsed at the Warrington game.While i beleive he's ok now he's probably got other priorities now.

Well last first, Anderson.

I believe that Charlie had an operation on Monday so may partially explain his absence, the other is people not liking his banter possibly.

Live and let live I say, there's nothing like winding the lobby gobblers up on their forum so he has free reign for me.

Ive said before I do not mind his rugby posts, I dont even mind some of his banter, its the other crap that he posts that is totally irrelevant to the forum that should be taken off and could have been nipped in the bud ages back that I do not like. Someone will have to tell him I said that though because he blocked me some time ago because I talk crap.

Edit: I will add though that the forum has been a better place of late for his absence though.

What ever he posts here or on the Leigh site I wish him well and a speedy recovery. I sat next to him once at the Shay and he was very nice chap, knowledgeable in his rugby and generous towards Fax. Get well soon Charlie.

Also before that he was due for the op that NB referred to which got delayed at the last minute, not going to give the details but it wasn't one I would have wanted.

Just to confirm he did indeed collapse before the Warrington game and didn't come out of hospital until the Monday. He was due an operation last Monday so is having a tough time health wise at the moment.I don't think he means any harm and just sees it as banter. I hope he gets well soon and also that he and Halifax John start to contribute again on the forum in due course.

Well I thought it only polite to reply to this post ,it's nice having a thread of your own on a Rival board ,and I must thank all the Fax fans for the kind messages I have received over the past week or so even my owd Foe GFB has been a part positive post Anyway as an update on my health , I was Discharged from Wigan on Tuesday but I'm very sore at the moment and can't get comfy,the Surgeon says it was a success so I'm on my way to recovery now.
As for MR Encouraged?I can assure you I've NEVER been in any way sanctimonious or superior in my thoughts or opinions of Fax ,I'm genuinely pleased they are proving me wrong but again if you think that .As for your wish about Leigh playing Fax again this season ,it WILL happen if you make the Top 4 be it at the LSV or the Shay should be a cracker,one I look forward to and as for your Final statement ?There are 2 Lanky in the current England cricket team, Jimmy Anderson who holds the record for most wickets taken,and Jos Butler the wicketkeeper, Mr Encouraged you must keep up as for my so called mi s - spelt name?Again you are wrong it is rightly spelt ,you see I'm a Napoli Caroli ,where the great man was a Milan Cairoli, a VERY big difference .
Anyway once again I thank you for your post and for the Positive messages posted as replies on the same thread,thank you all my Fax friends and to the Fans of other Clubs who have messaged me I really do appreciate it.Good luck for Sunday , hopefully we can do Fax a favour by beating Fev,but I take nowt for granted,last night Greg McNally scored 5 tries for Leigh which will improve my Fax Fantasy position,I even have Dale Manning in that team ,so happy days.Charlie.
