Assuming tv deal with super league clubs done ages ago and no-one considered the championship clubs.

If thats true it's appalling. Its the lower tear clubs that the RFL should be helping but never do. For once, just once why cant our governing body give everyone a level playing field ( sorry for the pun)

Just typical, the SL clubs get a reward for being rubbish, nowt new here than.

Once again Beaumont has run his mouth without the full facts. For some stupid reason each SL team put £80k in a fund at the beginning of the year and got 15k back every time they were on TV. Don't know why they did it that way, but they did. So Championship clubs aren't getting the same because they didn't contribute.

If anyone can explain the logic of this please let me know (use diagrams if necessary). Why put money in a pot just to get it back later on?

Beaumont is right to be cheesed off. Surely there should be some money due to clubs hosting televised matches - whether it's from the pot of cash the RFL are alleging is made up from a SL kitty or elsewhere.

God knows, I suspect it will have been an extra 80k that came from somewhere, and instead of just getting it as a handout they decided to spread it over the year. Fook knows what goes on behind the closed doors of the RFL.

I just don't know what the world would do without the SL teams.
