Neil's Notes v Lock Lane : Mon Apr 18, 2016 7:52 am
After the result the week before against Swinton we needed to put up a good performance, no disrespect to the amateurs. We certainly got that with some super tries and brilliant handling movements and just the 1 try against. Just need to follow that up next week when we entertain Dewsbury.
Ed Barber got Halifax Man of the Match with his 4 tries and Chris Siddons got the Lock Lane vote with Gavin Bennion picking up the Hitman award sponsored by Halifax RLFC Players Association. In the Shay Lounge Man of the Match the majority of the voting was shared between Ed and Ben Johnston with Ben just getting the nod and the 3 points with Ed getting the 2. In 3rd place and 1 point was Gareth Potts on his first outing for the season after injury. Gareth Moore still retains a 5 point lead from Adam Tangata. The half time draw winning number was 9461 picking up a respectful £153. The next Club 1873 draw should be after the match next week against Dewsbury. Due to my needing to get away on the final hooter we made the draw yesterday. First out was number 24 Alan Bennett for £25 voucher and the £20 voucher went to number 90 Stewart Stott. Thank you for all your support. Neil 07714488080. neilarber43@gmail.com |
