When he left to go to Peaky Blinders some fell out, going to Leigh for some that was the last straw, but? For me, Sams a smashing bloke, always happy to have a photo with Halifaxjohnsgrandchildred, some where he lost his way, I personally hope it turns out right for Sam.

Sad news???
How is it sad news?

When I saw the title of the thread I was immediately thinking a player from years gone by had passed away, but to then open it and read that apparently this news is now classed as sad, really does sadden me!!
The man has committed a crime, pleaded guilty and will be sentenced accordingly.
I see no reason for anyone to come on here offering their sympathy or support.

If anyone feels any sympathy for Mr Barlow for the latest in a string of indiscretions then they really need to have a look at themselves and think about "examples to younger generations".

HJ I respect your views but have to disagree with them. He's shown a massive amount of disrespect since he left us. He has been an idiot and having done the crime he has to accept the time.

Foolish boy.

I'm not going to get mixed up in the allegations of drugs at Leigh because nothing has been proven or come out of the woodwork.

It is sad but it could have been avoided. Enough said.

Someone looking through my kitchen window and rooting around in my back garden at 5am would get a good pasting UKAD or not.

Could have turned up at the training ground anytime for testing with Leigh being full time like with other teams.

Do you have anything good to say about your past players at Fax? The majority of you seem to see them as the lowest of the low, if Sam has done wrong he will pay for it I wish him well , well said Binosh and HalifaxJohn

If someone entered my property even in the garden for no reason they would get knocked clean out. In this case Sam just intimidated him

He won't get sent down but may get banned for refusing the drugs test what could have been done at training or before or after a game

Steve look at the thread on Ross Divorty. There is lots of love for him and rightly so. Penky and Bob Beswick get no stick from over here as do most other ex Fax players.

We all have our opinions and often we differ, that's the good thing about this forum.

Well it seems my comments have brought out some different thoughts, one tells me to have a look at myself descending into the usual nastiness from one telling me to "get my head out of SAMs a-se"
Well I still say it's sad. It's sad that it's happened it could have been managed better by both parties.
That's my humble opinion.
I also think it's sad that some posters seem to feel it necessary to be rude and ill mannered.
