Club is now taking legal action against council about long outstanding disputes.

If the council haven't played ball then good luck to the club with their action. Obviously I've been a critic of how the club has handled the rent issue and arbitration should get to the bottom of it.

Good. I thought the club was slightly out of line withholding payments for the rent but they were clearly desperate for the council to actually look at their grievances but continuing to pay and taking this action paints the club in a lot better light and now hopefully some of the shocking things the council have been doing in breaking the agreement will come to light and force their hand. Its just a pity the football club board have not got the same bottle as the Fax one and have had to shell out thousands of pounds of their own money when they could actually have stood together with the Fax board and put much more pressure on the council to improve things and not break their agreement.

I am delighted to see that the BOD are seeking an appropriate resolution to a problem. By seeking this it will end any ambiguity and clarify the appropriate way ahead so the club can plan properly.

It is sad it has come to this but I think the club have no option as if we believe what they have said there is something not quite right with how the Council are treating the club and it needs sorting out once and for all.

Don't know why their cant be a great, symbiotic, relationship between council and all stadium users.

The council has a great stadium, the sports clubs playing there are lucky. Everyone should be looking to maximise what's there. Some pride expressed in the shay housing the two teams.

I hope this doesn't come back to bite us on the booty!
