Isn't anyone going to talk about tomorrow, or have you all packed up until next season? I thought you might all have been raring to have a go at us at LSV, but it's gone strangely quiet on here! Is anyone going to venture over to LSV to resume the excellent banter we had last year - and will probably have again next season?!
Somebody mentioned that the game will be a 'dead rubber', but there's no such thing between our teams. I can't see tomorrow being any different - we certainly haven't enjoyed anything like that, this season! (except against Wigan! )
It does seem very quiet,I'm hoping to see Hudd Shay, Bentleyman,Living the Dream, and Pellon Boy, as well as a few other Faxers, that's providing they come over. Before tomorrow's game I will have a private moment and raise a glass in memory of my good friend Halifaxjohn, I've certainly missed John's sharp wit this season. Whoever wins tomorrow ,will determine how we go in the Final 8s game against London next week, myself I've been to watch Fax a couple of times this season, and love games at the Shay, if we are not playing in SL next year I will look forward to the Shay game and a visit to Fax. I hope a few of you can make it tomorrow, safe journey over, should be a great game .Charlie knows.
Charles subject to "A Fair Wind & a Wet Sail" I will be there sadly not many of us Friday Night 8pm k/o some of our better players missing a comfortable Home win for you. Hudd Shay will not be there but happily improving health wise I will be raising a glass to HJ & Henry looking fwd to seeing my Leyther Friends.

Sorry Ian (and Alan) but I can't get there unfortunately. I will be keeping up to date via twitter and BBC.
Mixed thoughts with lots of players out but hoping that the young lads put in a really good show.
I remember last year when I was confident that we'd beat you and then you battered us

What's a 'comfortable home win'? Come to that, what's a 'home win'? We don't do them anymore!
On a serious note, I'm 100% with you about Friday night 8 pm kick offs, across the Pennines. Try them with a video ref. in attendance. The game seems to go on for ever, and then you often find that the M62 has been closed for roadworks, on the way back!
Probably see you guys next season and, whilst I'd be gutted to be out of SL, games against Halifax, and trips to the Shay, have always been a highlight.
I'm on nights this weekend so would not have been able to make it whenever but Friday night certainly is the worst time and day. We've got some young lads, one of whom I've watched for a long time as he played with my son so I hope he gets on and goes well. I think even with a full squad we would have struggled at this stage of the season so it looks like we are putting all our eggs into next weeks match.

We may have to do that too - especially if London get a result at Widnes!

I'm still expecting a hard game tonight,it's never easy being a Leigh fan, hope you have a safe journey over.Ian.

Hi Ian. Hope you got my message. Sorry we didn't catch up this time. Looks like your boys put us to the sword. Looks like the battle of the part timers v Fev will be our main aim to try get at least one win. Mind you I don't think we have beaten Fev at home since 2009 so Fevgrinder and his Fev friends will no doubt come over full of confidence. Be nice to finish our season on a high. Keep smiling yourself.
