Well done Oldham, by far the better team. Marshall chopped and changed again and it's cost us big time. The bloke hasn't got a clue. Coach of the year was a long time ago and this performance will go down in history with the Cawoods game. Anyone want to swap a weekend in Toulouse with one in Benidorm? Victorian Cafe Bar. I'm away from West Yorkshire at the moment and so couldn't make the game, but was "watching" the game via the twitter feed (that was painful, but I guess nothing like being at the game). For those that knock Muzza, this shows how he (and Grix) are so very important to the team. Sorry Hudd-Shay, our reserves/youngsters may well come good, but it also shows that we need some Castleford input just to keep us competitive.

Only one person to blame for tonight and it's not the Reserves who played their best with no one to lead them. Lost the Club a lot of money and possibly fans this has. Come clean Marshall and admit you made a big mistake. Tonight was a debacle.

Agreed, at home to Hull KR next round. Not like it was London or Catalans, tough game, but with NO away fans. Would have been at least 3K on.

Bad night tonight it was a poop performance from the first minute to the last nobody stood out apart from one break by Johnno and one from Ed Barber we were simply AWFUL. Oldham deserved to win yer they had a couple of lucky tries but they had a deep line running onto the ball and a good kicking game, Marshall sent out a weakened team with one eye on Saturday which I can understand but the first teamers out there were poor, it was probably Steve Tyrers worst ever game in a Fax shirt two bad knock ons with nobody near him ouch.
Poor crowd and sadly some of the young lads did not take their opportunity which makes me feel depressed as we all want to produce our own talent and have a production line from the Reserves but none of them stood out today.
One try all night sums it up as that was all we deserved we never looked like scoring again after the one try we did get and Oldham got two very soft tries when defence is normally our strong point.
No idea which Fax will turn up on Saturday but not confident either way of getting anywhere near Toulouse.

If you mean it wouldn't be "us", then tbh I think you're wrong. The DR players this season haven't been game-breakers, but my point is that "us" is possibly a route down to L1.

The problem is marahall thinks he can win the crowd by playin lads just bcos they where born in halifax!....it may look and sound good but unfortunately it isnt the solution. Take Brook for example (no disrespect) he was released by bradford..then released by league 1 keighley, ask the question why?? Running the reserves looks good on marshalls cv but realistically how many are good enough for 1st team, at a cost of 25 grand a season we could sign 3 decent players a year on 8 grand a year contracts
