Well congrats to the dragons, out played Wolves big time.

Not that I am a McNamara lover as he was a Dull. But will the people who said he was a joke as a coach last year admit they might have been wrong ?

I will indeed, enjoyed the game, it was a tough encounter and Wolves just made too many errors, they had them on the ropes in the last 10 minutes but lacked composure and leadership.
Well done to the Dragons.

Norman, I know you are a die hard Fax man, and it must stick in your craw .
Yes Wolves gifted the game by too many wrong choice plays.
However look this way, if it helps the French game grow, and as most feel T W may be short lived, not as much travel time should the game expand over the channel.

Up the Fax next week

The crowd to me is the sad indictment of the overall state of the game . I had seen someone trying to give away first class rail travel to it . Years ago I would have snatched their hand off but then I thought I just couldn't be arsed....a bit like the summer bash. Nigel woods legacy hasn't left many new green shoots to provide the enthusiasm . To me the hierarchy need to act quickly and first on the list should be get more people playing the game so reserves is a must not a maybe.

The pundits kept banging on about how great the Catalans win was for French Rugby League, but the irony of that view is how damaging it is for British Rugby League.

Not only are Catalans depriving a British club a place in the British Super League, there is now talk of moving the Final from London because of the embarrassingly low crowd. Hey, let's play British League RL in a remote outpost in a foreign country, even at the expense of the annual trip to our own Capital and the associated media national coverage. B-O-N-K-E-R-S.

Sacre bleu

I wouldn't've kicked that goal with seven minutes to go.

Sure - they needed to score twice but, once you take the two, you're committed to kicking the goal from the try you hope to score.

Looks like the writing is now on the wall for the CC Final if my mate is used as a yardstick. He's being going to the CC Final since the year dot buying his family tickets virtually as they first come on sale, but this year is so cheesed off with the late cheap sell off he's no longer gonna buy in advance, what's the point? And he could blob altogether nearer the Final itself. Catalans good for British RL?

And Toulouse and London in the semis as well, with another empty stadium  Hey, but that's the desired future of Rugby League!
