I recognise that Sam has talent but he frustrated the hell out of me with penalties and I could see it driving RM daft. He certainly comes with a risk warning and I doubt if hrlfc can change that.

Hence pay as you play until we can see how he goes. He could be the best recruit this coming off season.

IF Barlow came back and IF he still has the talent he had before, he'd have to have learned from past mistakes to be worth the risk.

but if he has, then he is absolutely what we need. Straight in at 13 for me (assuming grix spends as much time off the pitch as this season).

We're 3 players like QLT, Sammut and Barlow away from being a real attacking threat. Pretty please throw some money about this off season

I can tell you for a fact there is no deal on the table at all for Sam. He`s 4 stone off playing and that wont be easy to shift. On his day you would take him in a breath, what a talent. Pay per play would be a good option though.
