I note, incidentally, that there are no proposals tabled for the Sky money going up.

Robert Elstone should be more confident of his new product.

Especially given the changes are supposed to make the product better. Hmmm perhaps it isn't the structure that's holding it back after all...

On Sky Sports Golden Point at 7pm this evening there was a lot of talk about tomorrows vote.

It was mentioned that what had been heard behind the scenes, some SL clubs had been ringing round their DR partners in the Champ and Champ 1 suggesting, vote for us or you may have to think again about getting any of our players.

Feeder, feeder.

It really is beyond belief that any non SL club could vote for these proposals. If voted through it will be the end of some of the most famous clubs in the game. Shame on the selfish, greedy, individuals who are only interested in their own clubs at the expense of the rest of rugby league.

Absolutely spot on. Read it and weep. I never thought I'd see the day when I agreed with owt coming out of Odsal. These two articles should be made compulsory reading before any club puts their vote in today.

Agree very well written articles. The fact still remains ( as I understand it), with the vote allocation should super league vote together en mass however the C and C 1 huff and puff S/L still have enough votes to carry the proposals.
