Agree very well written articles. The fact still remains ( as I understand it), with the vote allocation should super league vote together en mass however the C and C 1 huff and puff S/L still have enough votes to carry the proposals.

Not as I understand it. The RFL also has votes as does the amateur game. If us lower and unworthy clubs stick together SL greed will be stuffed.

Excellent articles. It's no wonder the likes of Lenagan want even more money to bail them out of their own mess. The latest Wigan RLFC accounts ………..

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/comp ... ng-history

……… show that they lost over £400k for the year and are actually insolvent by over £2 million, being propped up by Lenagan Investments Limited whom they owed nearly £6 million as at 30/11/17.

Thank you for the info , looking on the dark side it only takes S L to offer a carrot to the community voters, (coaching, player appearances, kit, ect) for heads to be turned.

There's some right shockers, bentleyman, for example Huddersfield Giants ....................

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/comp ... ng-history

............ lost over £1 million at the last count and were insolvent to the tune of over £13 million, owing a "related party" (presumably Ken Davy) over £14 million. These so called "sugar daddies" aren't giving their money away, they're lending it (even though one could argue they're unlikely to get it back). The 2 SL clubs I've picked out are heavily in debt and want EVEN MORE money to squander, Very scarey.

There's nothing wrong with doing that. It's public information.

On Sky Sports Golden Point at 7pm this evening there was a lot of talk about tomorrows vote.

It was mentioned that what had been heard behind the scenes, some SL clubs had been ringing round their DR partners in the Champ and Champ 1 suggesting, vote for us or you may have to think again about getting any of our players.

Feeder, feeder.

And they think that is a threat?

I've been saying for ages that the Championship & Championship 1 clubs should unanimously reject DR. It is universally hated and Fax only use it because the rest do.

Stopping DR would hurt the SL clubs most as without their arrogant use of "feeder" clubs they would be forced to reinstate Reserve Teams which they would be obliged to have anyway if Rimmer had any balls!
