Cup sponsorship

Whilst I know Coral are the Cup sponsors, I can’t find anything on line detailing the actual prize money or the value of a televised game this year.

Is the amount so low that the RFL hide it?

Suspect that the £150k (if correct) includes our share of the gate money as well.

When the deal was announced last January …………………..

......... it reckoned on it was a 7 figure deal over the 2 years so it can't be that bad, can it? :?

Suspect again. You get an equal share of the gate, after a 5% cup levy and expenses.

In which case, we're on to a winner. Gate receipts should be around the £1m mark, so we're hopefully looking more around the £300k mark incl prize money.

I am still far from clear on the income we will actually get. As the games are being played at Bolton which has a capacity of just under 30000, I would expect a reasonable high gate revenue (adult tickets range from £45-£25). But the revenue (after expenses!!) has to be shared between four mens teams and two women teams. I have still not found any clarity on prize money. So whilst it looks like a good revenue return I am not sure, perhaps the club could give some clarity, but I doubt it as the BOD appear reluctant to talk about anything.

Sadly, VAT will take a sixth of that million. :(

Yes. I think he was referring to what the Semi-final would be worth to them in total.
