The Shay is an awful RL ground run by an awful Council. Oh how I dream of cutting ties with those clowns with Fax building their own quirky stadium with the touchline running along the terracing, just like Thrum Hall.

As it is, I'll be trudging down the Shay this aft to a stadium with one side permanently closed (why can't it be made into some grassy aussie type knoll with beer tents and bouncey castles, eh, with a band playing?) with stuck bog taps and bust flushes.

We seem to be just missing that extra bit that used to take us over the line previously. That sense of one for all team and the sum of the parts etc .

If anything it were a slightly better performance than we have seen the last couple of weeks and for 25 minutes this week we played well. I were surprised by Fev and expected so much more from them but Im not sure they made a clean break all the game and if you took the last ten metres out of the game they never really looked like scoring. Sadly for us it has been that last 10 metres where our defence has been the weakest and all Fevs tries coming from either a dive over from the play the ball or a one out barge over goes along with that theory.

How some of our players justify selection is beyond me, to be able to put in poor performances week in week out and still in the team the following week I just don't get it. We have just signed RCS to a new contract which suggests he is rated by the club so for me he needs to be in at full back. Theres a couple more young lads knocking on the door who were told there would be changes if players didn't perform but now Grix says in the courier it would hamper their development playing in this team. Well its hampering getting people through the gates watching the current performances.

So greg now appears not to be a fan of Grixy !!...that honeymoon peiod didnt last long... it was all marshalls fault ...but now apparently grixy is getting the script all wrong ...could anything ever be the football managers fault ? Clearly not with the off field structure we
Currently have . Time for a drastic change from the top down. Not that we kow who the top actually is or does.look in the mirror time off field ? God knows what the players must be thinking this morning . Great to see Bently bavk at the club yesterday . Oh that wecould dream of that line up....kilroy austin preston bently schuster wow .

I think Grix will be just fine once he gets rid of the poor attitude players that Marshall brought in. The only thing that surprises me is that he hasn't been tougher on them so far when its clear a lot of them won't be here next season. As much as you would like to blame our football manager at every given point Im struggling to see how he can shoulder much, if any, of the blame here given he didn't hold the position before the season started so either you are unsure of the role of the football manager or it must be something else but Im sure we are all willing to listen to your reasoning as to why he could be to blame.

most frustrating thing is that we are our own worst enemy, seems to have been that way for years. That Fev team were there for the taking yesterday, they were poor - we were just WORSE!

Salty was abysmal, Cooper was again a waste of a shirt, Kaye's time is done and Jonno went missing for most of the game.

i actually thought Grix went really quite well yesterday, QLT is very dangerous on that left edge and i thought the cas hooker was excellent. if there is an opportunity to sign him up on a longer term loan, he & Moore would be a frightening combo.

its just mistake after mistake, the seasons gone and i for one genuinely cannot be arsed to watch another game, its just not been enjoyable this year at all!

Simple really greg . A football manager who presumably has ultimate responsibility for the playing side performance can either blame , sack or move managers under them for alleged performance issues or work with that manager to gain improvement by very clear face to face communication . Every situation is different but communication is key to managers solving issues up or down the chain . I dont know but Has or will our football manager demonsrated those skills to benefit the club ? I think we can all relate to who we liked to work with and for and who we did not. Sometimes it is just about characters.
