I’ve no complaints about DR, Fev beat us today and deserved to do so, they are a decent team, their DRs played well, and a couple of loaners as well,we all know the rules.Well played Fev.
The top 5 will be Toronto 1st place , then Toulouse , Leigh Fev,and York the question is what order.

What's certain is it's not Halifax's decision that he plays for Hunslet.

They don't have that right.

He was on loan at Hunslet when shuddersfield recalled him so he could be loaned to us, then we sent Saltenstall and Woodburn-Hall on DR to Hunslet. Kirby was so good for us we sent him back to shudds who again sent him to Hunslet again...I think. Or is it me being jet lagged without going to Toronto? I hope that clears things up!

Well with reserves now mandatory next season, hopefully this will clear the mess D/R has become.

Doubt it, because the RFL statement says the DR (and loan) systems will remain unaffected.

Which means:

Fans of teams that use DR regularly will defend it

Fans of teams that use DR, but less frequently will continue to say their use is much more honourable

Fans of teams that don't use DR will continue to condemn it (regardless of whether their team has used it previously)

I was more referring to the playing aspect rather than fans bickering. It is a much better path way for players to develop.

Also with a regular reserve comp it will limit the players available for the SL club to send out. So we
SHOULD avoid the farce of experienced players like Brad Singleton & Mitch Clark playing in 1 game in the championship, never to be seen again after that. The players that will be sent out on DR will probably be sent out reguarly to that club anyway.

If i'm reading the article right there's no guarentee Halifax will be allowed a reserve team......only the 11 super league and the special cases of Widnes/Bradford (FU** KNOWS WHY) get slots others have to apply.......

Widnes and Bradford are included because they both run category 1 academies. It's not special treatment, there is a reason.
I'll be amazed if Halifax aren't also included within the reserve comp next season.
