Back to The Shay for the game against the Vikings and it's about time we broke this losing run. We were hammered over there early on in the season but at the time who would have said that was a sign of the way our season would evolve? I still think this team is good enough to have a good run in to the season's end and hopefully we can start with a victory this weekend. Fax by 14.

Is Ah Van playing and Gelling? Those 2 make a difference.

Hopefully Fax (and the fans) will go out and just to enjoy ourselves for the rest of the season and stop being so uptight and critical.

We could obviously do with a win leading up to the Saints game and I'm actually looking forward to Sunday's game as the pressure is off and Widnes should provide a good contest with a decent following.

We're too good a side to go on an endless losing run and as soon as we break it we'll finish strongly including a good effort against Saints flying the flag for the Championship at the same time.

The only period that they were in the game today was those two tries just before HT, we dominated them all over the park today, well done boys.

Amazing - when we lose the match, topics are usually over 4 pages long but win and we haven't got past first base yet. Nothing to moan about?

I don't agree Widnes being a poor side, it's just that Fax were really up for this one and were outstanding. Muzza is a great leader, QLT is quality and Moore ran their big lads ragged round the ruck. All in all a great team performance - no weak links today. Widnes still had a sniff at 18-10 but our defence was excellent, their 2 tries coming off a Salty spill and Fairbank knock on.

The Championship is a far stronger comp this year with only Rochdale easy pickings. Swinton got another good result, as did Batley, Dewsbury are running decent sides close and Barrow are no push overs. In fact Widnes should be nervous. And poor turn out from their fans - there didn't appear to be more than 50 in the corner of the South Stand and were completely quiet for most of the game.

Feel more confident we can really give a good account of ourselves against Scouse Helens. Up the Fax!
