I presume junior Sa'u is aware that his contract will be a re-nogotiable one, timing likely to be mid season.

I’ve heard Craven will sign for Leigh next season, we have signed Jnr Sau today, and Mitch Clark for the rest of the season, ready for the play offs. :thumb:

Im sticking to my prediction that it won't all go pop at Leigh again within the next 2 seasons.

Seriously though I can't see sense in Poundshop Koukash wasting his money this year when the league could be easy pickings next year when Toronto go up and London come down.

Derek is spending because I think he wants to go to Wembley as his Company is sponsoring the 1895 Cup.At the beginning of the season he stated he was taking a back seat in the signing of players ,I think he may try to challenge Toronto this season. We also signed Adam Higson yesterday.

So as I mentioned previously, do all these signings fit under your salary sombrero?

Norman as far as I know they do, Derek isn’t stupid, and we have been unloading players, Hock has retired and Gregson signed by Swinton, a couple of other may be shown the door soon. Also I don’t think we were paying big money at the start of the season, some as little as 10 grand a season,I was told.Larroyer left us for a much bigger contract with Fax.

Spending for an end of season run is a good use of resources provided you are around the top five. If you get the players before the transfer window closes you could assemble a squad that could cause an upset and get promoted, or at the very least earn a good lump of prize money.

Aye it is. Just a pity for those players he shat on last year.

As I said it’s the A and B Sundecks 1895 Cup and Derek wants to win it, hence our new signings, maybe more in the coming weeks to challenge Toronto.
