[quote="charlie caroli"]As I said it’s the A and B Sundecks 1895 Cup and Derek wants to win it, hence our new signings, maybe more in the coming weeks to challenge Toronto.[/quoteo]
What do you say to the players Mr Beaumont dumped last year Ian?

Pete very few players were dumped by Derek last year, he gave them enough time to find new Clubs and most did, maybe Evans, and Larroyer were worst affected but both found Clubs after settlement.
Derek then told the Leigh fans the situation and how it would affect the Club, with reduced contracts and crowds staying good , he now feels its time to make a move recruiting players.

We now have an impressive squad , not on huge contracts, who are happy , it’s a win win for Leigh and the fans.
I don’t think Matuatia,Bodene Thompson,Hall,Crooks,Dawson,Vai Vai,or Hutchison will complain , they moved on,as have we.
Only Widnes stand between us and a Wembley appearance,as only Saints stand between Fax and the same.May see you on Wembley Way. :thumb:

That does surprise me, as I thought Larroyer was full time at Leigh and he's part time at Fax.

It's all well and good having a sugar daddy like Derek to support Leigh, and I think you'll give Toronto more than a fright as they're not "that" much better - Fev gave them a real tough game last week. But being so relient on one person is like building on foundations of sand. We suffered badly when Tony Gartland left, and Leigh themselves had a taste last year. Likewise Hudds is a disaster waiting to happen once Davy is gone.

Fuzzy, I agree with you about your statement about having one bloke in charge, much better a Board for me , but that’s the way it is,before Derek years ago we had a guy called Keith Bell, he was a disaster for us.

As for my Larroyer statement?I meant he was offered a reduced contract at Leigh to stay , but chose to move to Fax for a better one. :thumb:
