Neil's Note v Widnes/Away Travel

At last good to end that losing run today and other than 10 minutes before half time when they reduced our lead to 8 points we were in complete control. Scored some good team tries and tackled them out of the game in the second half as Widnes were unable to add to their score.
Steve Tyrer continued his great form scoring 2 tries and 6 goals and took both the sponsors MOM and the Shay Lounge adding 3 more points to his seasons total now at 15. 2nd place and 2 points went to Ben Johnston with the final 1 point to Adam Tangata. With Steve now on 15 his lead is extended with James Saltonstall 2nd on 10 points and 3rd Shaun Robinson on 7.The Hitman went to Chester Butler who scored his first hattrick for the Club.
In Club 1873 Nathan Swanbank number 121 drew the £25 voucher and the £20 voucher went to Maureen Fish number 53.
Half time draw winning number for £178 was 1263.
Our next game is on Sunday 21st July against Dewsbury. The supporters coach leaves at 1.15pm.Ko 3.00pm. Adults £9 with juniors free. To book phone me as usual.There are still a limited number of seats left for our Coral Challenge Cup semi final at Bolton on Saturday 27th July. The coaches start leaving the Shay at 12.00 noon.
