Should be allowed to play-adds interest to game and he's there to develop for next season.
Trivia question...who was the last person we sent out on loan who then scored against us...?

Danny Halliwell?

I like Salty, I really do. But he's not a winger. The number of times he had some daylight ahead of him last Sunday against Widnes but he didn't back himself and ended up stopping and cutting inside. A fast winger would have gone for it. McGrath has the speed.

Id put money on Salty in a foot race between the two.

Well done Jaffro.Warrington at Shay 2002 when Lee Briers thought he could beat us with drop goals alone only for Cardiss to get a last minute try in front of the sky cameras.

The Club Stated that he [McGrath] will not be allowed to play

Were he to play against Halifax, it is likely that Worrincy would be on the opposite wing. Have any Halifax/ex-Halifax players come up against their club/former club at all?
The lad played well for Dewsbury in his opening game against Barrow, scoring two good tries. At Sheffield he saw little of the ball, but that’s not unusual for Dewsbury wingers.

That's harsh !

I haven't seen much mention of defensive qualities yet either.

Salty isn't a winger, Salty isn't a centre, Salty is better off at f/b i.m.o but is he getting selected there ahead of Grix, Sharp or QLT ? Not a chance !

He's one of those luxury players that a coach has within his squad that allows him to move things around & react to different situations if & when necessary, utility players are special.

Those who remember James as a junior getting scouted by all the top SL clubs will remember a 100 tries a season 2nd rower that played above his size & weight at the very top of the junior levels and into academy rugby, the skills that a player picks up in their development years are part of what determines how far they go in the game and add to their game. Nobody ever dropped a ball on purpose whether it's from a kick off, out of the base of a scrum or at PTB

On to Dewsbury we go and hopefully we build on last Sunday's win against Widnes. We need to put the semi-final to the back of our minds and get the two points so we can be on an upward trend and build confidence. Will McGrath be playing for The Rams, surely not? I think we will be good enough to take this one. Rams 14v30 Fax.

Pete are you not going to Dewsbury.?Im leaving now for the LSV ,nice being at home for a change.

Salty is 10 yds off mcgrath over a 100 which just shows how little knowledge gfb has because he cant run . Salty does have quick feet to change direction but top gear pace absolutely nil. Many amateur wingers are quicker but that doesnt make them as effective . Different players different skills. A game lost today again . It was in the bag and you have to ask questions. A terrible season with one day in the sunshine next week . After that i really dont know where the club will drift because its time to change something off field.
