if he is then hopefully we stick him at loose forward. No chance we can keep him at hooker.

in all honesty i don't think Davies is good enough either, his distribution is garbage, he pretty much throws at at the receivers head. i'm not doubting that he COULD be good, he just isn't currently

Saw about Broughton yesterday, bought a house nearby and is working as a QS I think so looking at part time rugby. If fit is a good move, if not, well if he’s on a pay as you play we’re ok

Nick Rawsthorne is looking for a club next season and whereas Hull KR appear to be favourites to sign him, apparently a "part time club" is also interested. And which club is currently the most famous part time club in RL?

Broughton is all dependant on whether or not he gets a full time deal with a Super League club. If not, he's interested in coming to play for us. Rawsthorne is wanting to get a regular first team spot to kick on in his career so all depends what other clubs feel they can offer him.

We're after a Bradford half back, a player currently at Newcastle and a half back from a Super league club. Make of that what you will.

Personal preference: I wouldn't mind signing Akauola from Wire at the end of the season. Not got a club for next season but may be too expensive for us.

As long as the half back isn’t Myler.

Out of the 3 halfbacks we are after you can imagine we will only be after getting 1 of the deals over the line and you would think one is depending on how much Leigh want to spend. If Kaye has re-signed then the Newcastle player move would likely be dead in the water as I can't imagine Grix wanting 4 hookers. The calibre of player we are linked with is a good indication of where we are as a club and you have to think next season will be a real transitional year for the club and could be sink or swim.
