They don't help themselves at times. Bulls 20/20 Vision - Destination Super League.

I wasn’t having ‘a go at Fax fans’. I have no issue with ‘Fax fans’ in fact I have many friends who follow Halifax. I just found some of the comments here and on social media from a small minority pretty sad. But I appreciate that isn’t representative of the entire fan base, in the same way that not all Bulls fan believe we ‘belong in SL’ etc.

BB I accept that and I do feel for the proper Northern/bulls fans. It's just the constant arrogance and everyone against us attitude that wears a bit thin after a while. Up The Fax!

And how should me market it GFB? When the seasons finished we'll prob end up 6th, and probably a couple wins off second in our first season back with a young squad. Toronto will most likely go up making it a very exciting season next year as its very close from 2nd-7th. We're not far off being serious promotion contenders with a couple good additions plus our younger players will be more battle hardened.

I'd be disappointed if weren't going for promotion considering we need to find a few wins to be up near the top. It's just marketing.

He's got you there, Greg. It should be every club's ambition to get to Super League, otherwise what's the point?

I think you are a LONG way off even considering promotion to Super League.

The championship is a fantastic competition with some very well seasoned teams in the league, just in the English teams (Leigh, Fax, Fev) then there's Sheffield, York. Without even putting into the mix Toulouse, Toronto.

Yes aim for Super League - but don't let it kill your club off (again) in trying to reach it.

As for Destination Super League - jesus. Nothing short of embarrassing and that is from a team who did it years ago.

Get into the real world, smell the coffee and embrace the championship.

Leigh couldnt raise a team towards the end of last year and along with Fev, had to get special exemption from the RFL to complete a game. 12 months on (with quite a bit of help from D/R) they're both in the play-offs and I'd say Leigh are second favourites for promotion. So the long way off promotion I you can't really be sure upon as Leigh were in a right mess. I'd make them second favourites now.

Let me be clear before anyone jumps on. I don't expect to be in SL. I don't think we'll be promoted next year either. We could easily finish 8th, as you say they are some excellent teams in this league. But it's a Marketing tag line. We're in a position where we can challenge for promotion if we perform well enough. That's the issue I'm taking up with GFB. I trust he won't be expecting his club to talking about the play-offs because obviously that would be arrogant with them being more points away from 5th than we are from 2nd;)

Also as Chalmers as almost taken a personal war upon SL, I'm pretty certain he's embraced the championship. Its been a fanatic league to watch. Hope it gets more exposure.

Despite getting clobbered by 60 last week, the bookies have made Swinton favourites to beat us and give us 4 points start on the handicap. How has it come to this?

I would love to say anything other than because we are a shambles. I can't though. Im not sure its fair to name names but most people can see which players it is and most of them will be at the club next season. That does not fill me with much hope for next season.

Christ. Let’s hope not. With no money to add to them we’ll be in a relegation battle next year!

It was the timing of it as much as anything else. It was posted on Twitter on the same day - within the hour IIRC - of the announcement about the Dewsbury arrangement, my first reaction was that somebody had hacked the Bulls Twitter account. No wonder people were queuing up to reply "Destination Dewsbury" to that thread.
