What is inaccurate about my post? Every coach since Calland has had stick....one point I will agree is that your entitlement of expression. Thats your right and entirely your choice as to whether you take it.
My point is that the problems facing fax are way beyond the abilities of any coach to successfully address. Other opinions on this are available.

what is inaccurate about your post is i never called for a other coach to be sacked and why is it beyond the abilities of the coach to address the on field problems we have if he cant then its time to give up the issues on the field we have are not down to money there down to the coach not being able to get the best out of the players he as at is disposal and that being the case since he took over take your fev hat off and do you think we are really a poor a side as our performances have been and would you be happy if fev appointed a coach with out even advertising the post first to see who was interested in the post to get the best person for the job

Most of our coaches at fev have been appointed without advertising.... but thats irrelevant here. We're not on about fev.
I never said you or anyone else called for grix to be sacked. I point out that got over a decade fans on this forum have complained about every single coach, where the problems facing fax run much deeper. If you think its the coach .... fair enough.... I have no intention of changing your opinion. But in my opinion a change of coach will not make any significant difference.
But hey..... don't let me stop you from venting your spleen on grix..... or any other poor say that follows him in post.... just like those that preceeded him

did your chairman not travel as far as Australia to get ryan carr we could only dream of that type of ambition at halifax and what are these much deeper problems that fax have could you explain seen as they are holding the club back as for venting my spleen on grix or any other coach what do you expect have you watched our performances under is guidance should all fans just be quiet and hand over there money without question i have read your forum and that does not happen on there you cant just not hold people to account other wise we will end up like the government and don't get me started on them. The cheap shot i was referring to was when you referred to halifax like polishing a terd if featherstone were struggling and i went on your forum as a halifax fan and said that how well do you think that would be received

Like most supporters on this forum I was delighted with the squad assembled this year - while covid situation probably brought some players within our budget that wouldn't otherwise have been, I would guess we still probably pushed the budget to the limit. While I've no idea what money Grix is on - I would be very surprised if we had the money to pay him off and then employ a new, more experienced, and therefore likely more expensive coach. If change just isn't feasible as supporters we have 2 alternatives - we slag off the coach at every opportunity, further reducing the confidence of both the coach and the team - or- however crap todays performance was - we get behind him in the hope he can turn things round.

Terry.... if you want to try and score points on fev.... feel free cocker. But this thread isn't about fev.
As I said earlier, you can vent your spleen as oft as you like. That is entirely your perogative.
BUT, it does not negate from the current issues facing fax. Grix, like those before him and in all likelihood those that succeed him, is hampered by the lack of available resources to take fax beyond where they are.
You may disagree. C'est la vie.

I were quietly confident that the team that we had put together would be good enough for 4th and at a push maybe 3rd. the problem is we look to be a team of individuals with no team spirit whatsoever and are just going through the motions. I think it could be time up for Grix unfortunatley just in an effort to save our season, whatever he is doing or trying is not working and the players do not seem to be trying for him. Some need to take a good hard look in the mirror because they are letting him down big style.

Its a very typical Halifax thing for something to get the big build up like the rebrand has only for the players to disappoint on the field. The question has to be what are our chances of making the playoffs with Grix in charge from this point? I would say its slim so then its a question of how much does the club lose in lost revenue from a team not performing compared to how much it costs to pay a coach off with what I believe is another year and a half left on his contract and then the chances of making the play offs with a new coach.

I would agree that we are light years away from challenging for promotion, Toulouse and Fev look a cut above the rest. When it comes to budget, outside of York and London I would imagine we have spent more than the rest or at least up there with Bradford and Widnes. Personlly I don't think we are getting performances that befit that sort of spend though. Bradford fair enough its a close defeat but I think we played poorly for a lot of the game but Toulouse and Oldham today I think both performances are unacceptable. The players dont look arsed and as a fan Im to the point anyway where Im a little non plussed deciding to spend more time being involved with the amateur game.

Been there.... 16 years ago in the third teir.
But enough of fev already.
Who do you see as the coach that will bring you what you want? Who will get you to play off footy?
I'm not sharing your views on recruitment. Other fax fans I know have concerns about your half backs. They do look very pedestrian and unable to create the openings for able backs to feed off.
I really don't share the view that another coach will be the saviour. Just like all the previous coaches in recent history.

I think GFB makes a very valid point about a lack of leadership - whatever people think about Grix I'm pretty certain players are not sticking to what he's coached during the week. In previous years we've been lucky that in Murrell and Kaye and even Tyrer we had players that not only led by example but who had the force of personality to demand levels of performance from the team. Now when things start going wrong no-one seems to take responsibilty - this was painfully obvious today when everyone seemed to be looking to someone else to take a lead. Brandon Moore is a great player at this level but not s captain - I said at the time I would have given it Fairbank. Wouldn't solve everything but would certainly help Grix if he had someone to help implemant his gameplan

A valid observation there.
