RL World Cup - Missed Opportunity : Fri Oct 14, 2022 11:59 am
I just had a look on the RL World Cup website and was pleased to see a solid number of our players gracing various nations' squads yet no mention of that on the Fax website or Hx Courier.

Easy to be critical, but that is extremely POOR from a marketing perspective...

My Humble Opinion Only - let the knockers begin.

Cannot comment on the Fax website except to say ‘ they are all on holiday’ !
Never known a company to let everyone have the same holidays, especially as :
It must have been known about the takeover that was imminent.
World Cup year and several Fax players would be representing their country.
As Encouraged says A missed opportunity.
I know the Courier does not have a full time RL writer like the football does and picks up scraps from wherever, not that that should be a valid excuse.

Just watched the BBC one o’clock news. Nothing on it about the RL World Cup! Appalling considering the next program is the start of the comp and England V Samoa. The BBC did cover the women’s rugby Union World Cup games. IMG want to expand RL they need to get the major TV news channels to cover the sport.
