Dunno if Celtic targeted this one (I suspect they would have) but they certainly came out fired up early doors in both halves. If they can work on keeping the fitness levels up for 80 minutes they'll be a very tough team to beat. Having said that, Cas did look sloppy at times - maybe they expected an easy win? I'm happy with the points at the end of the day, but I'm sure if we open like that next week it's going to be a second Magic drubbing I'm afraid.

celtic got quite a few penalties early doors which kept the pressure on us but it was not a great first half from our lads. in the second half when we got our act together i thought sarge and ferres stood out well. some people might have thought that we would have won easier, but celtic are going to be trying harder every home game to get that first win, they are not going to lay down for anybody that goes. was impressed with our support, was a lot more than i expected.

We were overall ok. Celtic played well imo and gave us a decent game. We started sloppy and when they went 10-0 up i was a bit worried but credit to us we came back. I thought Feather changed the game for us when he came on after we went 10-0 down. Goldy and Shenny played well, i also thought Owen had a decent game from fullback, he ran the ball back well. Sione had a solid game and Jones and Ferres played well on their returns. Credit to Boyle aswell who drove the ball in well and got a try. Lots to work on for next Sunday though.

Was it Sione who threw that crazy pass in the first half? I think it went to Evans for his try?

Good to hear that Feather, Jones and Ferres had good games, hopefully they've all got through the games fine.

Did we start with Sarge and Boyle?

It does sound a lot like we went down there over-confident in the first half but when the time came we hauled ourselves over the finish line. A win is a win and another victory on our travels, let's just hope we can keep it up this weekend.

Do you really think it was crazy.
I think he knew there were no defence and 2 cas players stood alone.
The pass went straight to hand, it didn'nt bounce.
Imo i thought it was a great pass, if a saint or leeds player had done that we'd be all saying what vision they had.

Credit where credit is due.

Oh don't get me wrong, I never said it wasn't intended or a good pass.

It was just different is all.

Getting older is mandatory; growing up is optional.

Well they were certainly in the game for 60 minutes yesterday and made us work hard to grind out the win, going ten points up on two seperate occasions. I'd be surprised if they didn't win one soon.

It really was impressive to watch and I was surprised it went straight to hand actually.

Despite the conditions Cas showed some really good skills with ball in hand yesterday. We seemed to have a bit more depth in attack too which helped our speed when running the ball out wide.
