Can't recall that. IIRC he went to Oldham along with Gareth Morton and Matty Brooks. Widnes had a few ex-KR players i.e. Morrison, Gannon, Hardman but I'm sure not Byron Ford?

Ford played for Oldham v Fev, can remember that he came over to the Cas fans and gave his boots away to a young lad iirc, was warmly applauded.

He did indeed, I was sat watching him and he passed them on to a young Rovers fan in the South Stand with all the Cas fans.

He now plays for Newtown Jets in Sydney, but has a 3 month suspension for "recreational" substance abuse!
