I was under the impression Lunt wanted to play in Cumbria and asked for the move more so than us deciding not to keep him.

That sounds about right.

However, due to him winning MOM in almost every game he played for Workington I would have hoped that we would still be tracking him in case he wished to return to Yorkshire/Super League.

There is noone being wise after the event here - the lad is, was, and will continue to be an exceptional talent.
