Look to me like a very good side and you will take some beating this year, well done to Terry Matterson for keeping faith with the youth coming through , you got a potential top 6 side there if you can keep up this form !!

although i am pleased we got the points tonight i thought a draw would have been a fair result, it was harsh on you to lose and for what its worth i thought Dixon's con went over so it should have been a draw !!

Cheers owd cock. Top ten would have done most of us before the season started but I guess we recognise already that we can perhaps push for the eight. That would be awesome.

Fair play though. Giants defence was rock solid tonight (yet we'd still have stolen it if Ferres could have only got that fecking ball down. Oh well...). In summary, two teams pretty evenly matched - maybe we'll catch you cold at the Galpham in June.

That was an entertaining game tonight and for what it's worth, I thought Dixon's conversion had gone over too but I am biased

A very good defensive effort from the Giants and some good hands from Cas. A few "force it" moves but hey that's out fifth game together with 10 new players in the squad so I'm pretty happy with that. Last year heads would have gone down the moment we fell behind and the Giants would have run in another 2-3 tries at least so a fantastic improvement from Cas.

Here's to a good season for both of us this year and I look forward to the game at the Galpharm .

I can't fault the effort from the lads, but this game has just left a bad taste in my mouth. I think we deserved a draw at least.

Not that I noticed. Shifty picked up a hand injury - dislocation - but I think they just knocked it back in. He played on at any rate.

And Dixon too. I stand by what I said last week, the guy can't kick under pressure.

I thought we played well enough to get something out of that match. Huddersfield are a very good side though.
