A sustained and named personal attack must be verging on bringing the game into disrepute surely.

Blaming the oppositions tactics or suggesting some things didn't go your way is OK, but saying that Superstar Ben is to blame for making all the games he ref's bad games is too much.

If we want to stop this, then serious sanction needs to be dished up, we can't expect players to respect the officials if we let coaches shoot from the hip - even if they are emotional and straight after the hooter.

Precisely. What kind of example does it set to people in the amateur and junior games too, where match officials are generally less experienced and young people themselves?

Morgan has always struck me as a moaner though and we get the whinges about the Easter programme from the Aussie coaches who lose the Monday games every year without fail.
