I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

Well played Cas : Fri May 22, 2009 9:29 pm
Best team to visit Craven Park this season apart from Sheffield.

Was a very tight game with both defences on top.
I much prefer it when teams play dead unlike Cas tonight.

 Nah fair play though Cas look a decent side. Few too many dummy spits, if they could find some composure they'll beat a few sides.

The composure tends to be there when McGoldrick, Hudson & Netherton play (2 of them playing it would have been even closer then what the game sounded).

I know did not tonight which is very rare i feel when you come to our place we will turn you over we should have Mcgoldrick and Hudson back by then giving us a lot more options.

Looking forward to it, hopefully we'll have a full set of forwards, which we've not seen much of this year. Best of luck at Hudds next week, be a cracker to see Rovers and Cas return to Wembley, it's a long way off yet but we owe you one for that.

I thought Cas were defensively very good tonight. Justin said we limited their attacking options but so did they to us, hence players making poor decisions late in the set. We had a lot of good field position but Cas covered briliiantly. It will certainly a very tough return encounter but one to look forward to, with the usual terrific Jungle atmosphere.

Good turn out by Cas fans also and very vocal. I too thought they gave away too many silly penalties but at times I don't think the ref knew what he was doing. One or two early mistimed high tackles but nothing dirty or intentional. Good gutsy performance and defensively much better than expected. You should deffo have beaten the black and white sh#ite at Edinburgh, thought you had some bad decisions that day. Good luck next week and would love to see you at Wembley!
